The team at Olde Town Athlete is bringing something fun, simple, and movement-filled to the Arvada Community this summer—and you’re invited.
Introducing the Arvada Walking Challenge — a 28-day challenge designed to help you move more, feel better, and enjoy the outdoors. Whether you’re already training with us or just looking for a reason to get out and walk, this is your chance to join in. This challenge is FREE and open to EVERYONE, members and non-members alike!
The goal? Walk 100 miles between June 23 and July 20. Whether it’s solo strolls, dog walks, stroller pushes, or weekend hikes—every time you get outside and go on a walk, it counts!

The Challenge:
Dates: June 23rd – July 20th
Goal: Walk 100 miles in 28 Days!
Walking is one of the most underrated tools for feeling better, boosting energy, and getting those steps in without burning yourself out. No matter your fitness level, this is for you.
No pressure to hit your miles every day—this is about consistency, not perfection. Miss a day? Make it up with a weekend hike. Got a dog? Even better. Push a stroller? Count it. Every time you get outside and go on a walk, it counts!
We’ll have have two in-person walks this year! Route & times are TBD and will be sent out prior to the meet up.
- Saturday, June 28th: Meet at Colorado Tap House
- Saturday, July 19th: Meet at Anderson Park
